Daniel is an internationally recognised subject matter expert in the development of national payments systems strategy, financial technology, trust systems & next-gen digital infrastructure, leading a uniquely powerful collaboration network of 160+ peer institutions around the world covering 60+ jurisdictions, to drive whole-system strategy, innovation and interoperability. He is the new Infrastructure Ambassador for The Payments Association, with responsibility for its new global Infrastructure Working Group. A specialist in complex industrial ecosystems with a long history of involvement in Critical National Infrastructure innovation and renewal, Daniel is also a member of the founder team at Currency Network, developers of the Infratrust.io quantum-safe next-gen FMI which unites identity and payments.

In addition to payments and digital infrastructure, Daniel has extensive experience in additional market verticals including transport, recruitment and engineering, with a demonstrable track record of transformational innovation and strategic insight drawn from a 30-year career in technology, corporate venturing, IT-driven change and strategic advisory, including extensive work within the UKRI national innovation agency system and various tech start-ups.

With a focus on driving technological and organisational change in complex industrial and societal “systems of systems”, Daniel is a Senior Fellow of the “radical centre” thinktank, Radix Big Tent. He was also a co-founder of Nahamu, an advocacy and policy charity combating inward-facing extremism in the Jewish community, with a track record of successfully influencing policy, and has previously been a strategic advisor to a national faith figure on stakeholder relationships, crisis management & media as well as a member of the UK Freedom of Religion and Belief Forum.
